My name is Randall Rausch.
I’m a native Arizona photographer, born and raised in Tempe. Since the early 1980s—back in my high school days—photography has been a lifelong passion. What began as a hobby has grown into a way of capturing and sharing the beauty that surrounds us, especially here in the Southwest.
Arizona is truly an incredible place. Within just a few hours of Phoenix, you’ll find a remarkable range of landscapes: the Sonoran Desert, crystal-clear lakes, lush forests, rugged mountains, high plains, and breathtaking canyon lands. And yes—while we do have that “big hole in the ground,” Arizona is so much more. There are dramatic rock formations, colorful desert blooms in spring, and, just a short trip south and west, the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean.
My photography is focused on these awe-inspiring natural elements—sunsets, desert vistas, seasonal transformations, and the quiet grandeur of the land. While Arizona remains my primary inspiration, I’m also beginning to explore and feature other regions, including Colorado and beyond.
